Proofs From The Earth

Professor Bill Humble has traveled to the Holy Land numerous times over the past 30 years. He has visited many of the ancient sites that provide evidence of the accuracy of the Bible. IWitness

DX Definitions

Radio Explorer

Hymns of Praise

The Christian faith has a rich tradition of worship and praise through song.  The earliest Christians sang portions of scripture almost exclusively.  The Psalms, found in the Old Testament portion of the Bible, were especially popular.  In more recent centuries, Christian hymnology has grown to encompass the musical genres and worship styles of hundreds of cultures.  The New Life Station's Executive Producer, Dale Ward, visits studio "B" each day to introduce another hymn.  Dale may describe what inspired the author, relate a bit of the song's history, comment on the score, or define some of the more obscure lyrics.

The past 25 years have produced some of the best and most thought-provoking music of our time. From the edgy, high-energy music of U2 and Switchfoot, to the more relaxed and reflective selections of Dido and Michael W. Smith, KNLS has picked the best of the chart-topping hits. Songs with lyrics that speak of our world today, songs that reflect Christian principles, or the ballads and other songs that are just fun to hear--you’ll find them during the English hour on KNLS. It's music that's relevant but decent.
