This is the "Moses seat" found in the synagogue at Chorazin. Each synagogue had a chair of honor where the rabbi sat as he taught the law. This one, made of stone, was discovered at the Chorazin synagogue. It is displayed at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Jesus spoke of the "Moses seat" in Matthew 23:1-4.
